Shree Radha Damodar Studios (SRD Studios) and ETV WIN Originals have officially launched their third production, VETA, with a grand pooja ceremony. Directed by debutant Ashok Kotipalli, the film stars Sandeep Saroj and Satwika Jampa in the lead roles.
The title and the first glimpse into the world of VETA promise an intense and unexplored story set against the rustic backdrop of the Godavari region. Blending love, pain and powerful emotions, the film is said to present a raw village world while also carrying strong commercial elements.
Veteran actor and producer Konidela Nagendra Babu attended the launch as the chief guest and formally handed over the script to the team. K.S. Ravi Kumar performed the clap, while Sai Rajesh, SKN, VN Aditya and producer Phani Adapaka switched on the camera. Directors Meher Ramesh and Yadhu Vamsee, along with music director Anudeep Dev, were also present at the ceremony.
Speaking at the event, K.S. Ravi Kumar shared an interesting experience about hearing the script from director Ashok Kotipalli. He revealed that Ashok had narrated the story to him over WhatsApp around 15 days ago, explaining the characters, scenes and dialogues with remarkable expressions and emotion.
The narration left such a strong impression on him that even his wife, who happened to witness a part of it, asked whether he had already agreed to be part of the film. Ravi Kumar said he was impressed by the uniqueness of the story and the character offered to him. While maintaining suspense about his role, he added that he has a substantial number of Telugu dialogues in the film and joked that VETA might help improve his Telugu.
Tanmai N, Creative Producer at ETV WIN, thanked the media for attending the event and spoke about the team’s growing association with Sandeep Saroj. He said VETA marks another important collaboration for ETV WIN and expressed confidence that the film’s genre and storytelling would connect strongly with Telugu audiences. He also promised more exciting announcements from ETV WIN in the coming days.

Producer Phani Adapaka described VETA as an important project for SRD Studios and ETV WIN Originals. Thanking the guests, media representatives, influencers and the entire team, he also expressed his gratitude to Niharika Konidela for her continued encouragement following their association on Committee Kurrollu, which went on to receive National recognition.
Phani Adapaka also thanked Nagendra Babu for his guidance and support throughout his journey in cinema. Talking about VETA, he said the film, much like Committee Kurrollu, has its roots in a village setting and carries strong emotional depth. However, he stressed that VETA is not just a rural drama.
According to the producer, the film is designed as a commercial entertainer set against a natural village backdrop. He revealed that Sandeep Saroj will be seen in a completely new avatar, portraying a more aggressive and commercial hero with significant action sequences.
Sandeep Saroj thanked Nagendra Babu and all the guests for attending the ceremony and blessing the team. Speaking about the title, he clarified that VETA was not chosen merely because of its association with an earlier Chiranjeevi film.
He said the title perfectly suits the story and added that audiences will gradually discover what the “hunt” in VETA actually represents as more updates about the film are unveiled.
Lead actress Satwika Jampa said being part of VETA is a special opportunity and an important milestone in her career. She expressed her excitement about working with director Ashok Kotipalli, co-star Sandeep Saroj, SRD Studios and ETV WIN Originals.
Making his directorial debut with VETA, Ashok Kotipalli thanked Nagendra Babu, Sai Rajesh, SKN, Meher Ramesh and everyone who attended the launch. He expressed special gratitude to K.S. Ravi Kumar for accepting the story and thanked producers Phani Adapaka, Jayalakshmi Adapaka and the ETV WIN team for giving him the opportunity to make his first feature film.
Produced by Phani Adapaka and Jayalakshmi Adapaka under SRD Studios and ETV WIN Originals, VETA features Sandeep Saroj and Satwika Jampa in the lead roles. The film also stars K.S. Ravi Kumar, Rajeev Kanakala, Raghu Babu, Ravindra Vijay, Prabhavathi, Pramodini and Vikas Vasishta in key roles.
The technical team includes cinematographer Wajid Baig, music director Chaitan Bharadwaj, action choreographer A. Vijay, production designer Arvind Mule and editor Raghavendra Thirun.
