In an interview two years ago, Kartikeya stated that he would like to achieve stardom by playing relatable characters. “The depiction of heroism is increasingly becoming more grounded. Flamboyant dressing, etc., are passe. The male lead’s problems, too, have become more realistic. He is not a hero right from the first scene,” the actor stated. Perhaps, COMEBACK is that kind of a story.
The film is currently on the floors. Kartikeya’s wife Lohitha Reddy is producing it and Saraswathi Shukla is presenting it. The technical team included Jagadeesh Cheekati behind the camera, KR Kumar Manne on production design, and Kalyan Suryaprakash handling the edit. S Kishore Macha served as line producer, Sudheer Thelaprolu as executive producer, and Surya Akella as creative director are also working on the project.
