“I Am What I Am Because of You”: Chiranjeevi’s Emotional Birthday Tribute to Surekha

Megastar Chiranjeevi took to social media to share a deeply personal and emotional birthday message for his wife, Surekha Konidela, offering fans a rare glimpse into their decades-long bond.

Marking her birthday and their upcoming wedding anniversary, Chiranjeevi shared a series of cherished photographs from their private album. The couple, who tied the knot on February 20, 1980, have spent over four decades building not just a family, but a legacy rooted in togetherness and resilience.

In his heartfelt note, the actor described Surekha as the silent force behind his journey — the emotional anchor and “nucleus” of their family. He credited her for embracing his parents and extended family as her own and for managing responsibilities with unwavering strength and grace. Reflecting on his illustrious career, he wrote that the true secret of his success lies not in talent or hard work, but in her constant support. “I am what I am because of you,” he expressed with gratitude.

Together, the couple has three children — Ram Charan, Sushmita, and Sreeja — and are proud grandparents to seven grandchildren, making their family one of the most celebrated in the Telugu film fraternity.

On the professional front, Chiranjeevi, who turned 70 last year, continues to command the big screen. He scored one of the biggest hits of his career with Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu, released on January 12, 2026. He is now gearing up for his next venture, the fantasy entertainer Vishwambhara.

Through his touching message, the megastar reminded fans that behind every towering success story is often a pillar of quiet strength — and for him, that pillar is Surekha.
