Sai Pallavi Opens Up on Playing Maa Sita in Ranbir Kapoor’s Ramayana

Sai Pallavi Opens Up on Playing Maa Sita in Ranbir Kapoor's Ramayana

Actress Sai Pallavi shared an emotional message about portraying Maa Sita in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana, calling it one of the greatest blessings of her career. Speaking at the grand Ramayana: Pratham Sankalp event in Delhi, the actress expressed gratitude for being chosen to play the iconic role.

Addressing the audience in Hindi, Sai Pallavi said, “Please excuse me if my Hindi is bad. It’s not easy for actors to get a role like Maa Sita. It takes a dedicated team that pours its heart and soul into a film to present the best version of Ramayana to the world, so future generations can look up to it.”

She also thanked producer Namit Malhotra for believing in her. “I thank Namit Malhotra sir for choosing me. I was truly blessed to play Maa Sita. It’s not a role you can simply chase. Every day, I would meditate and pray to Maa Sita to act through me. I tried to keep my thoughts as pure as possible throughout the journey, and I learnt so much from the experience,” she said.

Directed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Namit Malhotra, Ramayana stars Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi as Maa Sita, and Yash in a pivotal role. Touted as one of the biggest Indian films ever made, the epic is already generating enormous excitement across the country.
