Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja has entered the dubbing phase for his upcoming film Irumudi, marking another major milestone for the much-awaited emotional family entertainer. Directed by Shiva Nirvana and backed by Mythri Movie Makers, the film is progressing at a brisk pace ahead of its theatrical release.
The makers announced the update by releasing a behind-the-scenes video from the dubbing studio. In the clip, Ravi Teja delivers the emotionally charged dialogue, “I’ve only one daughter, and her name is Manamma,” offering a glimpse into the heart of the story. The video also features director Shiva Nirvana and child artist Baby Nakshathra, hinting at the film’s emotionally driven father-daughter relationship.
With Ravi Teja completing his portions, the production is now in its final stretch. Only a few days of shooting remain, while post-production work is being carried out simultaneously to keep the film on track for its August 21 worldwide release.
On the musical front, composer GV Prakash Kumar has begun the background score after the overwhelming response to the first single, “Irumudi Kattu,” an Ayyappa devotional number that became an instant hit. The makers are expected to release the second single shortly.
In the film, Ravi Teja steps away from his usual mass avatar to portray a caring and emotionally vulnerable father, with Priya Bhavani Shankar playing the female lead. Baby Nakshathra essays the role of their daughter, while Sai Kumar, Ajay Ghosh, Ramesh Indira, and Swasika play important supporting characters.
Produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar, Irumudi features cinematography by Vishnu Sarma, production design by Sahi Suresh, editing by Prawin Pudi, and music by GV Prakash Kumar.
