Ram Pothineni Goes All Out for RaPo23 with a Gruelling 24-Hour Shoot

Ram Pothineni Goes All Out for RaPo23 with a Gruelling 24-Hour Shoot

Energetic Star Ram Pothineni is leaving no stone unturned to make his directorial debut, RaPo23, a memorable one. The actor-turned-director is reportedly pushing himself to the extreme while juggling the demanding responsibilities of both filmmaker and lead actor.

Ram recently completed a challenging 24-hour shooting schedule on the outskirts of Pondicherry. The shoot was part of an extensive nine-day schedule mounted on a massive setup, reflecting the scale and ambition with which RaPo23 is being made.

Handling the camera as an actor and taking charge behind it as the director, Ram has reportedly been working relentlessly throughout the schedule. His involvement in every aspect of the filmmaking process is said to have made the shoot particularly demanding.

The Pondicherry schedule, however, was interrupted by unexpected rains, forcing the team to return to Hyderabad temporarily. The unit is expected to travel back to Pondicherry soon and resume shooting on the same elaborate set.

Produced by Krishna Pothineni under Rapo Cinematics, RaPo23 is billed as a psychological action thriller set against a dark neo-noir backdrop. The film is expected to feature an intriguing narrative combined with intense action and a distinctive visual style.

The technical team further adds to the film’s appeal. National Award-winning cinematographer Thirunavukarasu (Thirru) is handling the visuals, while renowned action choreographers Vikram Mor and Peter Hein are overseeing the stunt sequences. Production designer AS Prakash is creating the elaborate sets required for the film’s ambitious world.

With Ram personally shouldering the responsibilities of both actor and director, the scale and intensity of RaPo23 are already generating curiosity. More details about the cast, characters and upcoming shooting schedules are expected to be revealed in the coming months.
