Superstar Rajinikanth is gearing up for his highly anticipated 173rd film, and the makers have now officially unveiled its title as “Dharman.” Along with the title announcement, a powerful first-look glimpse has been released, showcasing the legendary actor in a striking new avatar that has already created a buzz among fans.
The first-look poster presents Rajinikanth in a never-seen-before role set inside a hospital operation theatre. The superstar is seen standing confidently over a defeated goon lying on the floor beneath his foot. Dressed in a blue surgeon’s outfit and sporting his signature dark sunglasses, Rajinikanth holds a surgical knife in his hand while staring intensely at the camera, exuding both authority and menace.
Adding further intrigue to the project is the film’s tagline, “The Deadly Doctor,” hinting at a unique character that combines the healing profession with high-octane action and a ruthless edge.
“Dharman” will be directed by Ashwath Marimuthu, who earned acclaim for his work on films such as Pradeep Ranganathan’s blockbuster “Dragon.” The film is being presented by Kamal Haasan and jointly produced under the Raaj Kamal Films International (RKFI) and Turmeric Media banners.
