Ghamasaan Trailer: Pratik Gandhi and Arshad Warsi Face Off in a Gritty Battle of Power and Survival

ZEE5, Jio Studios and Golden Ratio Films have unveiled the much-awaited trailer of Ghamasaan, an intense drama starring Pratik Gandhi, Arshad Warsi and Ishita Dutta in pivotal roles. Directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia, the series is set to premiere exclusively on ZEE5 on September 11.

Set against the rugged backdrop of the Hindi heartland, the trailer introduces viewers to a world shaped by power, politics, loyalty and survival. At its centre is the intense confrontation between Arshad Warsi’s Maharaj and Pratik Gandhi’s Aditya. What initially appears to be a conventional cop-versus-criminal pursuit soon develops into a much larger battle involving an entire ecosystem of power and influence.

The story explores morally complex characters who cannot be easily classified as heroes or villains. Aditya is determined to bring Maharaj to justice, but his pursuit gradually reveals a deeply entrenched system where power and survival often take precedence over conventional morality.

Tigmanshu Dhulia, known for his rooted and realistic storytelling, brings his distinctive sensibility to the project. The director has crafted a raw world where the characters operate in shades of grey, adding further intensity to the central conflict.

Arshad Warsi steps into a darker role as Maharaj, a character marked by unpredictability and ruthlessness. Pratik Gandhi, meanwhile, plays Aditya, a determined man whose mission to capture Maharaj becomes increasingly complicated as he discovers the larger forces working behind the scenes.

Produced by Jyoti Deshpande for Jio Studios, along with Piiyush Singh, Abhayanand Singh, Saurabh Gupta and Ashwini Chaudhary for Golden Ratio Films, and Miten Shah of Yaelstar Films, Ghamasaan brings together an acclaimed cast and creative team.

The project has already made its presence felt on the festival circuit, with screenings at the MAMI Mumbai Film Festival, Cinevesture International Film Festival and Chicago South Asian Film Festival.

With its gritty setting, intense performances and high-stakes conflict, Ghamasaan promises to offer a hard-hitting story driven by power, pursuit and survival. The series will premiere on ZEE5 on September 11.
