ZEE5 has announced its biggest multilingual content slate to date, unveiling an impressive line-up of premium entertainment across seven Indian languages—Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Marathi and Bangla. As part of this ambitious announcement, ZEE5 Telugu has revealed a power-packed slate featuring original series, highly anticipated films and the return of one of its most-loved talk shows.
Leading the Telugu originals is Shrimathi, starring Nivetha Thomas, a much-awaited drama expected to showcase the actress in a powerful new role. Joining the slate is the courtroom drama Objection Mylord, headlined by Srikanth, which promises an engaging legal thriller packed with emotional depth.
Expanding its non-fiction catalogue, ZEE5 Telugu is also bringing back its blockbuster celebrity talk show Jayammu Nishchayammu Ra with a brand-new season, much to the delight of fans.
On the movie front, the platform has locked an exciting lineup of major Telugu releases. Among the biggest attractions are Venky Anil 5, NBK111, and Vrushakarma, further strengthening ZEE5 Telugu’s growing library of premium films across multiple genres.
The Telugu slate forms an important part of ZEE5’s largest-ever multilingual showcase, which also includes original series, blockbuster movies, live sports, AI-powered storytelling, animation and kids’ entertainment. The platform aims to deliver culturally rooted, high-quality stories while expanding its entertainment ecosystem with smarter technology and personalised viewing experiences.
Speaking about the announcement, Tejkarran Singh Bajaj, Business Head of ZEE5 India, said the platform is focused on shaping the future of entertainment rather than merely following industry trends. He added that the new slate reflects ZEE5’s commitment to backing bold storytelling while creating a technology-driven platform that offers audiences a richer and more personalised experience.
Raghavendra Hunsur, Chief Content Officer at Zee, emphasised that every title in the new slate has been carefully curated with quality and audience connection in mind. He noted that as viewers increasingly consume content across languages and genres, ZEE5 remains committed to delivering stories that are bold, authentic and capable of resonating with audiences across India and beyond.
With an exciting blend of original content, blockbuster films and returning favourites, ZEE5 Telugu is set to further strengthen its position as one of the leading destinations for premium Telugu entertainment in the OTT space.
