A Different Get-Rich Scheme: ‘Pocket Rockkets’ Teaser Finds Comedy in the Pursuit of Fortune

A dream of freedom can inspire bold decisions—and plans. The teaser of Pocket Rockkets introduces two friends whose search for a better life takes them into a world where luck, money and judgment collide.

Presented by Niharika Konidela’s Pink Elephant Pictures in association with Maximum City Studios, the film is written and directed by Rudra Atri.

The teaser’s appeal lies in the contrast between the characters’ concerns and the setting they enter. A casino becomes the backdrop for their attempt to change their circumstances. The shift gives the story a comic edge, while their conversations reveal how seriously they take the possibility of a breakthrough. One exchange captures their outlook: they should make the most of a chance to turn their lives around. It is an idea, delivered in a setting that makes the outcome uncertain. That tension suggests the appeal and absurdity of chasing quick success.

The teaser keeps its narrative details. It introduces the friends’ dynamic and the world around them, leaving the gamble—and its consequences—for the film to reveal.

The cast includes Trinadh Varma, Nirmal and Shriya Kontham, with JD Chakravarthy in a pivotal role. The film is produced by Padmaja Konidela, Rahul Raghavendra and Rahul Nimmakuri, with Ramesh Manyam as executive producer. Edurolu Raju is the cinematographer, Gyaani composes the music, and Anwar Ali is the editor.

Pocket Rockkets brings its mix of ambition and uncertainty to cinemas on December 11, 2026.
